About the Role

As our Compliance Manager (m/f/d), you will own a diverse set of tasks and controls from day one, collaborating closely with the Legal, Risk & Compliance team and reporting into the Senior Compliance Manager. You will translate new and updated regulatory requirements into daily practice and build AI-enabled tooling to ensure compliance as the firm grows.

Responsibilities

• Run and advance the internal control and compliance management system, including periodic compliance, risk, AML/CFT, and data protection controls, monitoring, and internal reporting.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance-related questions from other departments.
• Design and conduct compliance trainings.
• Lead compliance workstreams for regulatory transformation and upcoming operational-resilience requirements, in close collaboration with the IT function.
• Contribute to building compliance tooling and developing AI-based workflows to automate manual compliance work, with engineering support.

Requirements

• 2 to 3+ years of relevant experience in compliance, ideally within a regulated financial environment.
• Completed degree in law (strongly preferred), economics, or a comparable field; a focus in economic or European law is welcome.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., KWG, WpHG, KAGB, GwG, MAR, GDPR, MiFID II) is an advantage.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex issues and translate them into pragmatic, workable recommendations.
• Ability to read and navigate German regulatory documents confidently; English is the working language.
• Genuine affinity for digital tools and AI, with the ability to co-drive automation.
