About the Role

The Retail Merchandising Specialist will support a beverage-alcohol company in grocery retail accounts across the Greater London Area, focusing on in-store execution, product availability, planogram and pricing compliance, PAR and inventory levels, and incremental display opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Complete 2 visits per assigned store during the 8-week program window, following the approved call schedule and banner-specific guides.
  • Review in-store product availability and identify stock issues, out-of-stocks, low inventory and replenishment opportunities.
  • Conduct planogram and pricing audits to confirm execution, shelf placement, promotional compliance and pricing visibility.
  • Assess PAR and inventory levels and flag issues that may affect product availability or consumer access.
  • Understand banner-specific execution guides and apply them consistently during every store visit.
  • Build professional relationships with store managers, department leads and key grocery contacts.
  • Identify and pursue incremental display opportunities, including out-of-aisle, end-cap or other secondary placement opportunities where applicable.
  • Capture clear visit notes, photos and issue summaries using the reporting process provided by VIBRANT.
  • Submit weekly recaps to the VIBRANT program lead, including stock issues, pricing or planogram findings, inventory concerns and display opportunities.
  • Escalate urgent store-level issues to the management team in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in retail sales, merchandising, grocery, beverage, route sales, field marketing, CPG, or customer service.
  • Experience with grocery retail execution, including distribution, stock levels, planograms, pricing, inventory, promotions, and displays, is considered an asset.
  • Confident identifying execution gaps, inventory risks, and incremental display opportunities, and communicating recommendations to store contacts.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to represent partner brands professionally.
  • Proactive, organized, and self-motivated, with the ability to manage a territory, complete multiple store visits, and meet program timelines independently.
  • Able to follow banner-specific guides, merchandising standards, and detailed visit instructions consistently.
  • Strong attention to detail when completing photos, notes, checklists, escalations, and weekly recaps using a mobile device.
  • Available to work three days per week in market for the full eight-week program and complete two visits to each assigned store.
  • Must live in or near the assigned territory and be able to travel between store locations independently.
  • Valid driver’s licence and regular access to a reliable vehicle are required.
  • Able to lift, move, and merchandise beverage products and point-of-sale materials as required.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada and able to comply with applicable requirements related to beverage alcohol products.
