About the Role

We’re looking for a Manager FP&A to join our Finance team, reporting to the Senior Director of FP&A. This role involves leading FP&A business partner relationships and driving strategic finance initiatives. You will build and broaden relationships with key stakeholders, execute planning cycles, and analyze financial data to create comprehensive financial plans.

Responsibilities

  • Work with business leaders to provide financial support and develop sound fiscal insights that help achieve strategic plans
  • Build financial models, annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and monthly outlooks to support decision-making across the organisation, providing guidance to business partners and ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial plans
  • Be responsible for reporting projects that gather and integrate large volumes of data, perform in depth analysis, interpret results and develop actionable insights and recommendations for use across the business units
  • Partner with the business to provide insights and recommendations to drive revenue growth and optimise profitability
  • Manage the P&L for the business by analysing the financial and operating results, identifying areas for improvement and driving cost optimization efforts
  • Develop and improve the reporting of business key performance indicators (KPI's) and dashboards to monitor the business specifically with regards to efficiency, profitability, as well as time and resource management
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to help drive more accurate forecasting and planning.
  • Support other FP&A leaders to develop long term strategies
  • Support and/or develop a network of other cross functional contacts within the business to anticipate and plan for changes to revenue generation strategies
  • Actively participate in the conception and implementation of financial planning IT tools
  • Assist in preparation of various presentations for internal and external stakeholders
  • Work on ad hoc projects as assigned; such as assessment of new business activities or change of process
  • Assist with special requests from the executive team
  • Contributing as part of the wider team to achieve organisational objectives even if this means doing things that aren’t strictly within the scope of your role

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance
  • 7+ years in progressive financial analysis experience
  • Expert knowledge in Excel is a must
  • Experience with developing, maintaining and reporting results of a P&L
  • Experience as a finance business partner supporting senior leadership
  • Strong and effective verbal and written communication in English to interact with all levels of management.
  • Fluency in English as a working language is required for this position.
