About the Role

The Senior Analyst Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) identifies, models, and recommends ideas pertaining to financial risks and opportunities within the business. This role manages short and long-term forecasts, understands the airline industry and JetBlue’s strategy, and communicates financial plans to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive departmental operating forecasting (short and long term), ensuring accuracy and communication to leadership.
• Collaborate with Managers and above to provide strategic guidance and business decision support to cost center leaders through financial analysis.
• Prepare materials for Executive Leadership and Board Members, including the annual operating plan, quarterly earnings, and monthly business reviews.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the business, ensuring stakeholders are informed and aligned on financial goals.
• Fulfill and manage ad hoc requests, including complex analysis and cross-functional projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Three years of financial modeling, financial systems, analytical reasoning, and presentation experience.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups and organizational levels.
• Ability to drive results under tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
• Ability to multi-task across various projects, departments, and timelines.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Available for occasional overnight travel (15%).
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the country.
• Authorization to work in the US is required; this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
