About the Role
The Fresh Food Counter is the heart of our REWE Ivonne Schönbein oHG (New Opening February 2027) in Berlin. With your passion for meat, sausage, cheese, and delicatessen, you will advise our customers with your expertise and create sophisticated creations of the finest quality.
Responsibilities
- Convince customers with attractive product presentation, competent advice, and courteous service.
- Show finesse in processing and portioning our products.
- Independently prepare specialties according to in-house recipes.
- Implement your ideas for sales promotion measures.
- Ensure excellent product presentation, freshness, and compliance with hygiene regulations with your eye for detail.
Requirements
- Ideally, your completed vocational training or professional experience in the food retail sector or in (system) gastronomy.
- Your interest in processing and refining meat and fresh produce.
- Your enjoyment of dealing with people and your passion for retail.
- Your strong customer orientation and communication skills, your team spirit, and your sense of responsibility.
- Your willingness to work in a flexible shift system with working hours from Monday to Saturday between 06:00 and 22:00.
