About the Role

This position is responsible for all human resource generalist functions, with an emphasis on training and development of HR-related curriculum. The role involves recruiting, employee relations, compensation administration, compliance, and investigations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform recruitment functions for salary and non-exempt populations.
  • Manage external recruiting resources within budgetary limitations.
  • Participate in creating recruitment strategies, including university career fairs and intern programs.
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s Affirmative Action Plan.
  • Provide guidance to managers and supervisors on performance reviews.
  • Develop and recommend personnel strategies to meet organizational goals.
  • Assist managers with performance-related issues, PIPs, and HR investigations.
  • Support talent management, talent reviews, and succession planning.
  • Partner with site leadership to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, compensation, benefits, and general HR processes.
  • Advise on organization structure, job audits, reorganizations, and restructuring.
  • Create and implement HR/management training programs.
  • Assist in delivering training programs and new hire orientation.
  • Administer employee referral programs, conduct exit interviews, and manage onboarding and retention programs.
  • Provide employee advocacy and service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 - 8 years’ experience in HR Generalist functions.
  • Strong recruitment experience required.
  • Experience in utilizing HRIS, ATS, and other HR systems.
  • Experience in Affirmative Action Plans.
  • Experience in employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Experience developing and presenting HR/management training programs preferred.
