About the Role

As Technical Deployment Manager, you will independently lead the implementation of Signal1's AIMS platform at partner health systems from kickoff through go-live and steady-state handoff. You will run the project management backbone of each deployment, coordinating status updates, preparing steering committee materials, ensuring stakeholders have proper access and a shared understanding of key deadlines, and problem-solving through technical, organizational, and political barriers. This role suits someone ready to take ownership of external, executive-facing delivery from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Own the project plan, timeline, and risk/issue log (RAID) for assigned AIMS implementations end-to-end.
  • Coordinate regular status updates and run project cadence with internal deployment teams and client stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present steering committee materials to hospital executive sponsors.
  • Ensure proper data and system access is provisioned and all parties understand key deadlines and dependencies.
  • Design workflows in collaboration with clinical and technical stakeholders and configure the AIMS platform.
  • Identify project risks early, evaluate root causes, and problem-solve through technical and organizational barriers.
  • Set and communicate priorities clearly, and motivate project partners to hit key milestones.
  • Convene, lead, or participate in project meetings involving client representatives.
  • Systematically capture user pain points, workflow gaps, and unmet needs and translate them into structured input for product and engineering.
  • Design and deliver training for client teams and provide ongoing support.
  • Drive adoption plans that move client teams from legacy processes to AIMS-based workflows.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction.
  • Monitor and report on project status to senior leadership.
  • Follow the policies and procedures of Signal1's Quality Management System (QMS) and engage in continuous improvement of the QMS.
  • Other duties as assigned, including potential travel to client sites.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent deployments at once (typically 2–4 accounts in parallel), with strong judgment on prioritization and multi-threading.
  • 5–8 years of project management experience, either in enterprise software implementation or in a PMO/transformation function with a track record of delivering to external customers.
  • Exceptionally organized, defaulting to structure without being told to.
  • Excellent communicator, especially in writing, able to turn a messy project status into a clear, confident steerco deck for an executive audience.
  • Demonstrated ability to run executive-level status and steerco communications independently.
  • Working technical fluency: comfortable in conversations about integrations, data flows, and governance/vetting workflows.
  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder, matrixed projects.
  • Proven ability to build rapid rapport with a diverse range of clinical and technical stakeholders.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project management concepts, tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience across the entire project lifecycle, from initial conceptual design through final implementation and close.
  • Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-scaling startup environment.
  • Background in a corporate PMO, consulting PMO, or transformation office, with direct external-client delivery exposure (Nice to have).
  • Prior experience at a health system, EHR vendor, or healthcare AI/clinical software company (Nice to have).
  • Exposure to AI governance, model risk, or clinical decision support deployments (Nice to have).
