About the Role

Okta is building the trusted, neutral infrastructure to enable organizations to safely embrace AI. This role is an opportunity to do career-defining work on the Company Planning and Programs team, focusing on creating alignment and clarity around Okta's near- and long-term strategy. The Programs and Planning Specialist will drive strategic planning rhythms and act as a flexible Project Manager for cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of annual and quarterly planning cycles, ensuring clear communication and milestone tracking.
  • Assist in coordinating ongoing leadership alignments and tracking action items for key strategic initiatives.
  • Help maintain and streamline operational documentation, reporting dashboards, and presentation materials.
  • Lead and manage smaller, high-priority projects and initiatives across the Company Operations ecosystem.
  • Support internal change management efforts, internal team programs, or community initiatives.
  • Act as a central point of contact for assigned projects, ensuring timelines are met, risks are flagged, and teams remain aligned.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of proven experience in project management, program management, or strategic planning.
  • Highly comfortable operating in dynamic environments where priorities can shift.
  • Able to bring structure to ambiguous problems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and navigate complex stakeholder relationships.
  • A track record of successfully partnering with various teams to drive shared outcomes.
  • Team player who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.
  • Approach work with curiosity, organization, and a collaborative spirit.
