About the Role

Performs repetitive workstation or line assembly operations to mass-produce components or to assemble those components. Follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Responsibilities

• Operates injection molding machines.
• Visually inspects molded components.
• Completes required production reports, including cycle times, scrap count, and downtime.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the floor lead or department supervisor.
• Follows written documentation and procedures for specific jobs.
• Trims, de-gates, and/or clips parts as needed.
• Assists in reclaiming inserts.
• Prepares packaging for the next shift operator.
• Completes tasks as directed by production schedules with minimum supervision.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area and equipment, adhering to safety regulations.
• Performs basic machine functions relevant to assigned tasks.
• Enters production data into IQMS.
• Works on special projects and related assignments when requested.
• May be required to work in various production areas.
• Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Requirements

• Must be familiar with basic machine functions to perform assigned tasks.
• Must adhere to all safety precautions, including wearing appropriate safety equipment.
• Regularly lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to work in a moderate to loud noise environment.

Experience Level

• Minimum 1 year factory related experience

• High school diploma or GED required
