About the Role
Perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety regulations. Perform building and grounds maintenance as directed. Maintain preventative maintenance systems and processes to support manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain various types of equipment throughout facility.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
- Track and document all equipment preventative maintenance and repair.
- Determine and track inventory for all spare maintenance parts.
- Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, install, and perform testing activities on various computer equipment, peripherals, and data communication.
- Assist on production floor with material handling, repairs, and maintenance.
- Provide contractor support.
- Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
- Conduct tow motor training.
- Perform and document regularly scheduled safety checks on tow motors, eyewash stations, and fire extinguishers.
- Work on special projects and various related assignments when requested.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Requirements
- Ability to use Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic practices.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete and abstract variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Employee is regularly required to sit, talk and/or hear.
- Employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.
- Employee is required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl.
- Employee must also occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision and color vision.

Education Level
