About the Role

As a Sales Assistant for Meat (m/f/d), you will ensure product availability and maintain order in your department. You will be the primary point of contact for our customers, advising them on our extensive range of meat and sausage products.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product availability and order in your department.
• Advise and inspire customers from the gastronomy sector as a competent contact person.
• Assist customers with all questions and requests regarding our extensive meat and sausage product range.
• Stock shelves to ensure customers can rely on well-filled and orderly shelves.
• Present products attractively to customers, maintaining order and cleanliness in the meat department.
• Ensure the availability of fresh and high-quality products by adhering to legal and regulatory quality assurance standards (e.g., HACCP, expiration date control).

Requirements

• Ideally, you have completed commercial training or have experience as a sales assistant (m/f/d), retail salesperson (m/f/d) in the food retail sector, or as a specialized meat sales assistant (m/f/d) or journeyman butcher (m/f/d) in a similar sales role.
• You are a butcher (m/f/d) or come from the gastronomy sector (e.g., cook (m/f/d) or restaurant specialist (m/f/d))? As a career changer, you are very welcome!
• Ideally, you have initial experience at a fresh counter and possess good knowledge of meat and sausage products.
• You are enthusiastic about retail and meat/sausage products and exhibit customer-oriented behavior.
• You are willing to work in a two-shift system.
