About the Role
The Energy Analyst will be a key part of the SourceOne management team, providing energy consulting support and maintaining customer relationships. This role reports directly to the Supervisor of Energy Management.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional service to account relationships.
- Build customer relationships as a key member of the management team.
- Gather and consolidate data from varied sources.
- Manage utility information for multiple customers daily and monthly.
- Validate and verify customer costs and utilization using rate engines.
- Field inquiry requests and manage problem resolution for customer utility-billing issues.
- Coordinate and assist with new customer account creation.
- Develop customized reports to support specific customer needs.
- Research and identify procedures for authorizations of access to customer’s utility information.
- Provide follow-up with utility representatives and commodity suppliers.
- Support administrative needs of the business, including accounting, reporting, sales process, data entry, back-up phone support, and general administration.
- Support project management requests as required by upper management.
Requirements
- BS/BA required preferably in Business, Math, Accounting, Engineering, or relatable field.
- Some energy, utility or related experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills required.
- Attention to details and ability to review materials for accuracy.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong telephone etiquette.
- Ability/flexibility to learn and apply new skills.
- Ability to navigate through a variety of computer applications.
- Ability to prioritize work.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
