About the Role

BDIPlus is seeking two detail-oriented QA Specialists to join a fast-paced client engagement starting immediately. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys testing applications, identifying issues, validating functionality, and working closely with developers to ensure high-quality software releases.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual testing of web-based applications
• Create and execute test cases and test scenarios
• Identify, document, and track software defects
• Perform regression, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing
• Validate bug fixes and retest issues
• Work closely with developers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements
• Ensure applications meet quality standards before release
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Maintain accurate testing documentation and status updates

Requirements

• 2+ years of software quality assurance or testing experience
• Experience performing manual testing for web applications
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Experience writing clear bug reports and test cases
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work onsite in New York City
• Available for an immediate start
• Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps
• Experience testing REST APIs using Postman
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation
• Experience with browser developer tools
• Exposure to test automation tools such as Selenium is a plus
• Experience working with cloud-based applications
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Strong problem-solving skills
