About the Role
Rocking Horse Ranch Resort, an award-winning all-inclusive family resort, is seeking a Food and Beverage Manager to oversee daily operations. This role involves leading a team of up to 100 employees in a high-energy dining environment serving over 500 guests per meal.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a consistent and extremely high level of guest service, ensuring thoughtful service is demonstrated by all restaurant staff.
- Recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and appraise front and back of house personnel.
- Ensure all food, health, and safety regulations are rigorously maintained.
- Manage and forecast food and beverage inventory, overseeing vendor relationships and negotiating supplier arrangements.
- Exhibit excellence in both front and back of house skills daily.
Requirements
- Several years of managerial experience in the hospitality/food and beverage/bar industry.
- Experience using a property management or POS system.
- High sanitation standards and exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to budgets and meet financial targets.
- Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Player-coach mentality required.
- Ability to work on your feet throughout the day.
- Flexible working availability including weekends and holidays.
