About the Role
We are looking for an Associate Influence Director to join our Influence team, reporting into the Head of Influence. This role is responsible for managing relationships, negotiations, and delivery of creator partnerships to create impactful brand moments.
Responsibilities
- Develop creator-led brand building strategies and insights.
- Integrate creator thinking across Creative, Media, and Strategy teams.
- Oversee the end-to-end casting and vetting process for creators.
- Champion diverse and representative creator casting.
- Present creator recommendations to clients with strategic rationale.
- Lead high-value talent negotiations, including VIP and celebrity partnerships.
- Manage commercial discussions regarding usage rights, licensing, production costs, and paid amplification.
- Act as the point of commercial and production truth for clients, managing expectations on rates, rights, and timelines.
- Ensure campaigns are delivered efficiently, profitably, and to the highest standard.
- Set the standard for creator communications from briefing through to delivery.
- Manage timelines, budgets, and relationships collaboratively with brands, creators, and agents.
- Evolve measurement frameworks and ensure high-quality reporting of campaign success.
- Quality-control talent-facing work to protect creator relationships and Born's reputation.
- Act as the first point of escalation for high-profile creator partnerships.
- Grow the network of creators and agency partners through relationship building and networking.
- Mentor junior team members, modeling commercial rigor, strategic thinking, and respect for creators.
- Contribute to thought leadership, white papers, events, and speaking opportunities.
- Partner with clients on forward-thinking creator strategies.
- Contribute creator and talent expertise to new business pitches and proposals.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in Influence or Talent adjacent roles (partnerships, casting, strategy, execution, or production).
- Agency side experience is preferred.
- Talent-obsessed with deep knowledge of the creator economy.
- Commercially sharp with comfort in negotiation, rates, and rights conversations.
- Delivery-first mindset with a focus on execution.
- Results-oriented with a focus on efficient and profitable campaigns.
- Calm under pressure and able to manage changing circumstances.
- Innovation mindset, open to collaboration and new ideas.
- A true partner to creators, viewing them with respect.
- Client confident, comfortable pitching and engaging with clients.
