About the Role
This position is a hands-on design role for individuals with a superb sense of typography, strong concepts, attention to detail, and an understanding of the digital medium. The Junior Digital Designer assists in creating and executing the visual identity for the Urban Outfitters brand across the UO ecommerce website and digital marketing materials.
Responsibilities
- Create visual assets for all Urban Outfitters digital marketing channels, including email marketing campaigns, lookbooks, editorial layouts, paid media, social media, and the UO app.
- Produce clean, formatted Figma files and web-ready graphics for the development team.
- Collaborate with project coordinators to meet deadlines and communicate project status effectively.
- Work with designers to create new graphics aligned with seasonal direction.
- Develop graphic systems that are visually engaging and appropriate for the UO Brand.
- Coordinate with print teams for branding campaigns, promotional messages, and graphics initiatives.
Requirements
- Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma on a Mac Platform.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Advanced understanding of digital formats across various screen sizes and devices.
- Good understanding of web technologies and standards.
- Expert in creating web-ready artwork.
- Ability to handle multiple design projects in a fast-paced weekly workflow.
- Past experience in a retail or fashion-related industry is a plus.
- 1 year of equivalent experience (Education, Work Experience, or Portfolio demonstrating interest and ability in design).
