About the Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a retail location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and/or point-of-sale surroundings while maintaining awareness of suspicious behavior, policy violations, and other security-related concerns.
Support asset protection and loss prevention efforts by reporting theft-related activity, assisting with access control, and/or providing a visible presence during opening, closing, and busy business hours.

Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5 or more years of armed security experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
