About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team and develop novel online monitoring systems for Additive Manufacturing (Laser Powder Bed Fusion - LPBF).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on international research and development projects in Additive Manufacturing.
- Develop, implement, and validate online monitoring and process control systems for Laser Powder Bed Fusion (LPBF).
- Analyze and interpret process, sensor, and quality data to identify relationships between process parameters and component properties.
- Design and conduct experimental investigations on additive manufacturing equipment.
- Develop methods for process control and quality assurance for industrial applications.
- Collaborate with scientific and industrial project partners.
- Document and present research findings in reports, scientific publications, and technical presentations.
- Support the acquisition and execution of new research projects.
Requirements
- Experience in international research and development projects.
- Experience in developing, implementing, and validating online monitoring and process control systems.
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting process, sensor, and quality data.
- Experience in designing and conducting experimental investigations.
