About the Role

As a crucial member of the Delegated Authority Claims Team, you will be accountable for delivering high-quality, timely, and accurate reporting and management information (MI) to support key decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate and timely reports, Management Information, and analysis to inform business-critical decisions.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of claims data to identify underperformance, trends, concerns, and themes, providing actionable insights.
  • Develop and implement effective reporting strategies, ensuring reports meet required standards of quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Provide expert support for workshops and projects related to system changes, implementation, and enhancements.
  • Maintain the highest standards of data integrity, ensuring reports and MI are reliable, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Transform claims data into reliable insights that support portfolio oversight, operational improvement and informed decision-making.
  • Structure data, identify trends and translate complex analysis into clear management information.
  • Design, develop and maintain robust data models that ensure consistency, comparability and integrity across all clients’ data.
  • Validate and improve metrics and data quality to ensure calculations are accurate.
  • Create KPI reports for internal stakeholders analysing claims portfolios in support of internal oversite activities and business decisions.
  • Create roadmaps for the life cycle of data projects.
  • Use statistical tools to interpret data sets, detecting trends and patterns for diagnostic and predictive analytics.
  • Assist with the preparation of loss runs and claims selection for audits and due diligences.
  • Participate in special projects and ad hoc reporting.

Requirements

  • Associate degree/BA and at least 5 years data analysis experience.
  • Experience in connecting data sources, importing data and transforming data.
  • Working knowledge of insurance & reinsurance.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Very good understanding of processes, workflows and data structures.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment, results-driven and practical approach to work products.
  • Proactive in identifying process improvements and adaptive to change.
  • Understanding the responsibilities and adhering to the requirements of undertaking in an FCA/PRA regulatory environment.
  • Ensure compliance with Insurance Distribution Directive.
  • Satisfy all claims-related regulatory reporting requirements in collaboration with the reporting function.
  • Ensure compliance with Munich Re’s Code of Conduct and the FCA’s Conduct Rules.
  • This role is in scope of IDD.
