About the Role

The Facility Coordinator supports integrated facility management, including operations, maintenance, logistics, employee services, and fire, life, and safety. This role ensures a safe, productive, comfortable, and clean working environment, requiring a blend of technical abilities and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and execute preventative maintenance programs for critical building systems.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with external partners for repairs.
  • Manage capital and operational expenses (CapEx/OpEx) projects, tracking budgets and ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Oversee building waste stream operations and disposal protocols.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external vendors, coordinating onsite activities and evaluating performance.
  • Administer building access control systems, monitor visitor traffic, and manage onsite access badge inventory.
  • Provide critical security support for 24/7 building monitoring, remaining available for on-call emergency responses.
  • Process all incoming and outgoing property shipments, serving as the certified onsite hazardous materials/dangerous goods (HM/DG) coordinator.
  • Maintain active certifications and strict compliance with IATA, 49CFR, and IMDG transport regulations.
  • Safely operate material handling equipment as a certified forklift operator.
  • Track and replenish daily breakroom amenities, office supplies, PPE, first-aid resources, and shipping/receiving stock.
  • Coordinate and facilitate onsite safety training sessions for staff.
  • Assist with the chemical approval and inventory process to ensure compliance with SDS/OSHA guidelines.
  • Provide support to the emergency response team (ERT).
  • Provide top-tier, proactive service to onsite employees, executives, and guests.
  • Assist with the setup, logistics, and teardown of onsite events and accommodate visiting teams.
  • Provide baseline troubleshooting and setup for audio-visual (AV) equipment in conference rooms.
  • Manage the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) by accurately opening, routing, and closing work orders.
  • Operate large agricultural and construction equipment safely and effectively.

Requirements

  • Strong mechanical aptitude; highly proficient with power tools, technical assembly, and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experienced in CMMS or comparable digital work-order systems.
  • Forklift operator experience (onsite certification will be provided).
  • Experience in large agricultural and construction equipment operation.
  • First aid & CPR/AED certified.
  • IATA, 49CFR, IMDG certifications.
  • Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 25 pounds regularly.
  • On-call availability for rotating 24/7 security and facility emergency responses.
  • Clear, collaborative communicator with management, vendors, and clients.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proven track record of prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documenting maintenance logs, timecards, and projects.
  • Two-year technical degree.
  • Minimum five years experience in property or facility building operations.
  • Regional or local licensing/certifications in facility management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and facility software systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of integrated facility management services.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Verification of employment to work in the U.S.

Salary/Compensations

  • The base salary may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
