About the Role
The Patient Coordinator executes all front office duties and provides support to patients, providers, and support staff. This role is open to candidates with no prior experience but a strong interest in healthcare, teamwork, and attention to detail, along with schedule flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Handle all incoming phone calls, scheduling-related tasks, and online leads efficiently and professionally.
- Create a positive phone call experience for every caller.
- Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance service quality.
- Understand provider-to-patient flow and anticipate provider needs.
- Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment.
- Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities.
Requirements
- Healthcare experience is preferred.
- Medical Receptionist experience preferred.
- Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems preferred.
- Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Excellent patient relation and customer service skills.
- Must be a professional, reliable, and dedicated employee.
- Prior experience working in a dermatology/medical environment preferred.
- Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends.
