About the Role
iFAST Global Bank Limited (iGB) is seeking a Senior Credit Executive to manage lending business expansion through counterparty onboarding, risk assessment, and product development. This role involves collaborating with various departments and contributing to the enhancement of the Bank’s Credit Risk System.
Responsibilities
- Conduct onboarding and credit assessment of corporate customers and recommend credit limits for approval.
- Assess Life Insurance policy products in line with the established assessment framework.
- Act as the first line of defence in managing credit risk in lending business.
- Review, challenge, and recommend credit limit allocation requests within the authority and scope of Lending Division.
- Support robust credit risk monitoring and reporting in collaboration with Risk (second line of defence).
- Monitor product and customer performance through existing reports and collaborate with stakeholders in managing risks.
- Prepare new product introductions, conduct Consumer Duty and Risk assessments.
- Act as a member of the Project Working Group for relevant lending products and support the identification and formulation of user requirements.
- Liaise with Project managers and relevant departments to ensure timely progress on product development and implementation schedules.
- Participate in user acceptance testing and follow up on required remediation and enhancement actions.
- Contribute to identifying reporting enhancements and development of analytics in cooperation with IT departments.
- Prepare relevant inputs for executive committee packs.
- Monitor product performance from a consumer duty perspective and provide updates.
- Collate and analyze customer feedback, propose solutions and enhancements, and follow through to implementation.
- Ensure product T&Cs and Key Features documents are up to date and revised.
- Contribute to the enhancement of the Consumer Duty dashboard.
- Actively contribute to the improvement of existing and creation of new product methodologies, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain review schedules and ensure Lending-related policies and procedures are up to date.
- Maintain the inventory of Lending-related policies and procedures and ensure timely updates.
- Perform other duties within the Lending area and beyond as required by the bank.
- Operate in a fast-moving, customer-centric, and risk-aware culture.
- Understand products, client/counterparty requirements, and the bank's business.
- Consistently demonstrate effective time management and prioritization to meet deadlines.
- Actively collaborate with colleagues in other departments and the wider iFAST Group.
- Adhere to conduct rules and comply with Policies and Procedures of the Bank.
- Complete all assigned trainings on time.
- Apply Consumer Duty lens to all products and activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of credit analysis and credit risk management experience.
- Proven analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain focus and discipline under minimum supervision.
- Comfortable operating in a hectic and complex environment.
- Ready to step out of comfort zone.
- Strong work ethics.
Skills
- Good understanding of credit risk.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
- Familiarity with AI tools and ability to productively use them.
