About the Role

Make a difference to the next generation as an Early Years Housekeeper at Bright Horizons Cheshunt Day Nursery and Preschool, a nursery rated 'Good' by Ofsted providing exceptional care and education.

Responsibilities

• Keep the nursery a clean and safe environment for children, colleagues, and families.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of the children’s bathroom and nappy change areas throughout the day.
• Carry out daily laundry as required.
• Support over mealtimes where required.
• Clean equipment where required.

Requirements

• Previous experience of cleaning within a domestic or commercial property.
• Food Safety CIEH L2 or above (or equivalent) – must be passed on day 1 in post.
• Sound knowledge of COSHH and Health and Safety requirements.
• Enhanced DBS check required.

Skills

• Great communication skills, with colleagues, children, and parents.
