About the Role
Join the Quantitative Research and Development (QRD) Lab within Strategic Analytics (GSA) to empower sales and trading functions with data-driven models and tools leveraging AI/ML. You will use your quantitative data science knowledge to deliver impactful solutions and collaborate with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Work with partnering sales and trading teams to formulate initiative problem statements, business cases, proposed approaches, delivery schedules, and KPIs.
- Conduct research and development across the full life-cycle, from idea inception to documentation and maintenance of productionized solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the field and share knowledge with the team.
- Provide project management, coordination, and managerial oversight as required.
Requirements
- Working knowledge in deep learning and/or natural language processing.
- Strong foundation in mathematics and statistics (including probability, time-series modelling, optimisation).
- Track record of original research and hands-on production deliveries demonstrating creativity, impact, attention to detail, and longevity of solutions.
- Experience analyzing large structured and/or unstructured datasets.
- Solid programming skills in Python.
- Excellent academic/educational credentials at an advanced specialist level (minimum MSc).
- Experience in the Finance industry is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain complex requirements effectively.
