About the Role
The Parker Jewish Institute is seeking a Mashgiach/Kosher Cook to provide food and nutrition services essential to residents' health, happiness, and wellbeing. This role involves supervising operations impacting Kosher dietary law compliance and preparing Kosher food for all meals.
Responsibilities
- Provide food and nutrition services on a daily basis.
- Maintain direct supervision of all operations impacting compliance with Kosher dietary laws.
- Oversee inventory, food production, preparation, assembly, delivery, and pick-up of food trays.
- Cook and prepare Kosher food for all meals in the Kosher kitchen.
Requirements
- Yeshiva graduate.
- Prior experience as a Mashgiach in a hotel, food establishment, or institutional setting.
- Must be able to cook and prepare food.
