About the Role

Kitware seeks an Associate Contracts Administrator to assist with all aspects of the contracting lifecycle for government and industry customers. The administrator will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of proposals and the administration of contracts, as well as providing post-award support. This role involves interaction with project managers, team members, auditors, collaborators, customers, and vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation of proposals in response to solicitations
  • Interface with subcontractors to obtain necessary data for proposals, including pricing information
  • Prepare and disseminate proper instructions to the internal organization on contract requirements
  • Assist with the monitoring of projects to ensure all contract actions are being processed in a timely manner
  • Administer contract modifications
  • Complete post-award administrative reporting requirements
  • Maintain close contact with customers and collaborators, fostering long-term business relationships
  • Act as a point of contact for external organizations and internal individuals for proposal and contract related activities
  • Maintain documents and input data into Kitware’s contract management system
  • Perform such other assignments as may be required from time to time by management

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree (preferably in humanities, business, or something similar)
  • Strong communication, text analysis, and research skills
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and an ability to learn Kitware’s internal systems
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Ability and willingness to work in the office a minimum of three days per week
  • Due to contractual requirements, only US citizens will be considered for this position
