About the Role
This role will lead project delivery, sector pursuits, and drive strategic market growth across Canada for the Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) Sector. The position requires inspiring the team, representing design excellence, and reinforcing the global brand of Stantec.
Responsibilities
- Lead project delivery for the design and execution of major MCF projects.
- Lead significant project pursuits.
- Collaborate with technical and managerial project leads to achieve key operational performance metrics.
- Actively contribute to written content in strategic project engagements.
- Mentor and coach next-generation thought leaders in the MCF sector.
- Inspire, motivate, and hold the team accountable for delivering innovative and sustainable design solutions.
- Lead and participate in pursuits and campaigns for major opportunities.
- Develop and grow the MCF sector, attracting top-tier clients and achieving top-line growth.
- Contribute to Stantec's thought leadership and brand by sharing knowledge and innovation stories.
- Partner with other leaders to drive collaboration on pursuits across geographies and disciplines.
- Be hands-on in key pursuits, client relationship development, and project management.
- Collaborate with fellow market leaders, sub-specialists, BC leaders, and regional/national Sector Leaders to develop and leverage expertise.
- Collaborate on annual sector plans and budgets, outlining vision, focus, priorities, and business performance goals.
- Identify opportunities for Industry and Community Outreach.
- Speak at selected conferences, publish thought-leadership pieces, and maintain active memberships in associations.
- Partner with the Marketing team to develop sector campaigns for Stantec brand recognition.
- Contribute to and support the Stantec client satisfaction/survey program.
- Monitor and advise on sector trends specific to the sub-sector and cross-sector impacts.
- Solicit and facilitate the sharing of industry knowledge.

- Must be a leader capable of assisting with growing the Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) Sector.
- Must be able to lead project delivery, sector pursuits, and drive strategic market growth.
- Must be able to act as a project leader and subject matter expert in a consultative role.
- Must be able to inspire the team, represent design excellence, and reinforce the global brand of Stantec.
