Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle for U.S. and international employees, including background checks, I-9 verification, and coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate visa processes and compliance documentation in partnership with internal teams and external legal counsel.
  • Serve as the hands-on admin for Workday Core HCM, Benefits, and Leave modules, including managing Business Processes, Security Groups, integrations, file feeds, and data reporting.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, manage organizational structures, and generate reports to ensure flawless data integrity.
  • Manage ACA reporting, CA Pay Data, Form 5500, non-discrimination testing, and 401(k) audits.
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure alignment with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Assist in special HR projects as needed.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of progressive HR/People Operations experience, ideally in a fast-growing or global environment.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. labor laws, benefits regulations (FMLA, ADA, COBRA, ACA, ERISA), and state-specific leave programs.
  • 2+ years of hands-on Workday administration experience (specifically managing Core HCM, Benefits, and/or Absence modules).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (vlookups, pivot tables, data audits) and a strong analytical mindset for reporting and system reconciliation.
  • Experience supporting global benefits or international employee populations is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience collaborating with immigration counsel for visa and work authorization processes is a strong plus.
  • Proven track record of handling highly sensitive and confidential information with absolute discretion and ethical judgment.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills—specifically, the ability to draft policy and see complex processes through to completion.
