About the Role
The Fisher Investments Australasia (FIA) Relationship Manager – Service serves as the main point of contact for Australasia institutional clients, building and maintaining client relationships and coordinating day-to-day client support.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with FI’s US and regionally based investment management and back-office teams to service institutional clients
- Responsible for maintaining a thorough familiarity with each assigned client
- Meet minimum service requirements, including traveling to meet with clients, contacting clients and recording communication within our internal contact management software
- Work with external and internal parties to orchestrate the sales and service processes within the region
- Conduct in-person portfolio reviews for institutional clients
- Communicate portfolio changes, market outlook, investment philosophy and portfolio strategy to clients
- Attend to various client requests
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in asset management and institutional client services preferred
- Excellent, professional communication skills through face-to-face, phone and written contact
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, prospects, and investment consultants
- Ability to multi-task and address complex challenges and proactively develop creative solutions
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a dynamic team-environment with team members in multiple locations
- Extensive knowledge of securities and markets and ability to apply knowledge in a variety of method
- Ability to apply mathematical and financial concepts such as geometric linking, cap/dollar/equal weightings, Alpha, Beta, Tracking Error, Information Ratio
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals as well as write reports and business correspondence
