About the Role

National Railroad Safety Services, Inc. is seeking a safety-driven professional to oversee construction, maintenance, and safety compliance for railroad projects. This role ensures all work within railroad rights-of-way is performed safely and in accordance with federal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee worksite safety and provide flagging services
  • Conduct job briefings and ensure compliance with FRA regulations (49 CFR 214)
  • Monitor track conditions, approaching trains, and work activities to ensure personnel safety
  • Coordinate train movements and permissions with dispatchers, engineers, and supervisors
  • Document activities including job briefings, incident reports, and daily work logs
  • Enforce all Railroad, State, and Federal policies

Requirements

  • Ability for long-term travel assignments, including multi-month deployments
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Successfully complete all required federal, client, and company-specific training
  • Pass pre-employment/recurrent background checks
  • Pass drug and alcohol testing
