About the Role
The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a Program Officer to provide administrative, operational, and research support to the Laboratory of Behavioural Neuroendocrinology. This role is crucial for facilitating the daily activities of the laboratory and supporting the Principal Investigator and Research Lab Manager.
Responsibilities
- Support administrative and operational functions of the laboratory.
- Assist with research coordination.
- Assist with scientific communications.
- Assist with regulatory compliance.
- Assist with general laboratory administration.
- Coordinate meetings and calendars.
- Prepare correspondence.
- Maintain CVs and academic documentation.
- Coordinate travel arrangements.
- Assist with procurement and financial administration.
- Prepare reports and presentations.
- Support donor, grant, and project reporting.
- Assist with the preparation and formatting of manuscripts, grant applications, reports, presentations, posters, and other research materials.
- Contribute to a collaborative, organized, and inclusive research environment.
- Support the laboratory’s commitment to scientific excellence, regulatory compliance, and responsible conduct of research.
Requirements
- Experience with graphic design, figure preparation, and data visualization is an asset.
- Experience maintaining professional academic documents, including CVs and publication records, is an asset.
