About the Role
As a Planning & Scheduling Manager (m/f/d) in the data center sector at Linesight, you will collaborate with highly skilled, culturally diverse, and dedicated teams. You possess extensive experience in construction scheduling and are responsible for developing and managing fully integrated project schedules, ensuring alignment with execution, procurement, and project control strategies. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for effective collaboration with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage and drive project priorities, deadlines, and client relationships.
- Develop detailed, end-to-end project schedules based on Critical Path Methodology (CPM), covering the entire project scope, milestones, and timelines.
- Apply the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) methodology to clearly define roles, responsibilities, and deliverables.
- Align all scheduling with the project execution plan and contract, procurement, and project control strategies.
- Establish a robust method for schedule baselining and manage ongoing updates.
- Maintain a fully integrated project schedule that can be evaluated at different levels of detail and management.
- Lead and moderate meetings with clients and suppliers to discuss schedules, project progress, and dependencies.
- Analyze, negotiate, and resolve scheduling conflicts between departments and project participants to achieve optimal client outcomes.
- Create regular progress reports for stakeholders, transparently presenting deviations, risks, and corresponding countermeasures.
- Review and validate schedules from suppliers and third parties, ensuring compliance with industry best practices.
- Utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) knowledge to support integrated monitoring of schedule and cost performance.
Requirements
- Several years of in-depth experience in project planning and schedule control for construction projects in the data center or other complex infrastructure projects.
- Very good knowledge of Primavera P6 for creating, managing, and analyzing project schedules.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex schedule data understandably, concisely, and persuasively.
- Confident demeanor in leading meetings and the ability to guide discussions purposefully and facilitate decision-making.
- Proven experience in Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA), including interpreting analysis results and communicating them understandably to stakeholders.
- Strong technical understanding of planning and control processes in complex, demanding, and large-scale construction projects.
- A completed university degree or equivalent qualification in project management, construction, engineering, or a related field.
