About the Role
As a Working Student in Video & Social Media Marketing, you will be responsible for the entire video content process at Sunpeak Capital, including planning, filming with our founder, editing, and publishing. You will also independently manage our social media channels, directly contributing to our growth.
Responsibilities
- Planning and conception of YouTube videos, podcasts, and other social media content (formats, topics, editorial plan)
- Preparation and execution of shoots with our founder: setup, camera, sound, and direction on-site
- Video editing and post-production, including fine-tuning, simple motion graphics, subtitles, and thumbnails
- Upload and publication including titles, descriptions, tags, and community management
- Independent management of our social media channels (YouTube, Instagram including Reels and Highlights, LinkedIn)
- Adaptation of long-form content into short-form formats (Reels, Shorts, 9:16)
- Management and content creation for channels from a marketing perspective: you are responsible for the entire process from idea to publication
- Monitoring trends, formats, and best practices, and contributing your own ideas
- Prospectively: Co-designing and setting up performance marketing campaigns, including editing ad creatives
Requirements
- Enrolled student, ideally with a focus on media, marketing, communication, or a related field
- Relevant prior experience in video editing and proficient use of Adobe Creative Cloud
- Proficiency with camera, sound, and lighting, along with a good sense for aesthetics and storytelling
- Understanding of the mechanics and algorithms of YouTube and social media platforms (short-form and long-form)
- Proactive, self-directed work style and a strong hands-on mentality
- Very good German language skills and a keen sense for language and brand
- Availability for at least 6 months
- Willingness to work on-site at our Berlin office
- Bonus if you have knowledge in renewable energies, photovoltaics, battery storage, charging infrastructure, or energy markets
- Bonus if you are willing to be on camera yourself
