About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Digital Forensic Specialist to join our growing Defensive Capabilities team. You will lead technical forensic investigations, manage incident response, and help organizations build long-term cyber resilience through threat hunting and security assessments.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients during crisis situations.
- Lead forensic investigations, compromise assessments, and threat hunting activities.
- Conduct end-to-end incident response from detection to recovery.
- Collaborate with incident responders to manage complex, large-scale security incidents.
- Provide actionable security recommendations in high-stakes environments.
- Produce high-quality technical reports and presentations for diverse audiences.
- Deliver technical training and workshops for clients and internal teams.
- Mentor junior consultants on technical projects.
- Conduct ongoing research to stay current with security best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Security Consulting with a focus on incident response and digital forensics.
- Expertise in at least two technical areas such as incident response, digital forensics, threat intelligence, threat hunting, or cloud security.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience writing technical documentation and delivering client-facing presentations.
- Excellent collaboration skills for working under crisis conditions.
- Fluency in English; German proficiency is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as required.
