About the Role
We, GBB Gesellschaft für berufliche Bildung mbH, are seeking to expand our team for the "Perspektive 50+" project in Spandau. This project addresses the changing job market due to demographic shifts by highlighting the potential of individuals over 50 and supporting their path to sustainable employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional orientation for participants, considering in-demand occupations and regional job market opportunities.
- Submit and follow up on suitable placement suggestions.
- Request and support self-initiated job search efforts.
- Prepare participants for and accompany them to job interviews.
- Assist in creating modern, target-group-specific application documents.
- Maintain and optimize applicant profiles in VerBIS.
- Collaborate closely with social work and business acquisition teams in an interdisciplinary setting.
- Conduct at least four hours of individual coaching per participant weekly.
Requirements
- Completed vocational or academic training.
- Minimum of one year of professional experience in the vocational and social integration of the target group.
- In-depth knowledge of the Berlin educational landscape and the regional job market.
- Experience in application training and creating application documents.
- Proficiency in standard office software and with the Federal Employment Agency portal.
- Experience with corporate personnel selection systems and criteria.
Skills
- Empathy and age-sensitive interaction with individuals over 50.
- Strong communication, organizational, and social skills.
- Motivational ability and a solution-oriented approach.
- Willingness for interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Intercultural competence.
- Knowledge of Arabic, Russian, or English is an advantage.
