About the Role

We, GBB Gesellschaft für berufliche Bildung mbH, are seeking to strengthen our project „Perspektive 50+" in Spandau. This project supports individuals with extensive experience and life realities as they embark on a new professional phase, working closely with them in a resource-oriented, individual manner focused on achievable goals.

Responsibilities

• Intensive socio-pedagogical support for individuals facing social integration barriers.
• Socio-pedagogical diagnostics and development of individual support plans.
• Supportive counseling and daily life assistance, including help with navigating authorities.
• Establishing and coordinating contacts with social integration network partners.
• Contributing to the creation and updating of activation and integration plans.
• Close collaboration with job coaches and business acquisition within an interdisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Social Work / Social Pedagogy
• Special Needs Education / Rehabilitation / Special Education
• Educational Science / Educational Sciences with a focus on Social Pedagogy / Special Needs Education / Social Work / Youth Welfare
• Pedagogy with at least one year of professional experience with the target group
• State-certified educators with relevant additional qualifications

Skills

• Empathy and professionalism in dealing with individuals in difficult life situations, especially those over 50.
• Sensitivity to the life realities and challenges of older job seekers.
• Value neutrality, reliability, and motivational skills.
• Willingness to collaborate closely with network partners, authorities, and agencies.
• Intercultural competence.
• Knowledge of Arabic, Russian, or English is an advantage.
