About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving manufacturing processes and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, quality control, and project management.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and improve manufacturing processes and systems
- Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure product quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve manufacturing issues
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions and process flow diagrams
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
- Manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and within budget
- Train and mentor production staff on new processes and equipment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems
- Experience with quality control and process improvement methodologies
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD software
- Knowledge and proficiency in CNC programming
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- This position involves exposure to projects and contracts subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). As a result, only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) are eligible for employment in this role. Applicants must meet these requirements to be considered.
