About the Role
As a member of the clinical development team based in Tokyo, you will lead the planning and execution of the clinical development strategy for assigned products in Japan. You will contribute to product success by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, handling regulatory affairs, preparing submission documents, and building networks with external experts.
Responsibilities
- Planning and execution of clinical development plans in Japan
- Liaison with regulatory authorities and support for submission document preparation
- Building and maintaining networks with external experts
- Supervision of clinical trial design, execution, evaluation, and reporting
- Explaining strategies and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
- Clinical contributions towards regulatory submission, approval, and launch
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or healthcare field (Master's, Ph.D., M.D., PharmD preferred)
- 5+ years of clinical development experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Experience managing multiple clinical trials concurrently
- Experience with regulatory authority interactions and submission document preparation
- Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Team leadership experience in a matrix environment
