About the Role

As a Customer Ops associate, you will have daily exposure to world-leading financial institutions. You'll blend hands-on customer support with technical delivery, onboarding new clients, analyzing complex data, and contributing code changes to advance our platform. This role offers significant scope to own high-impact projects beyond business as usual, requiring a proactive and curious self-starter who takes ownership and identifies opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard and support clients on software platforms, partnering with customer-facing teams and engineering.
  • Own technical projects implementing new asset classes, enabling new metrics, and updating existing code.
  • Interrogate large volumes of client data using analytics skills to resolve critical issues.
  • Train and support clients over email and in person.
  • Collaborate across teams, manage dependencies, and flag issues through JIRA.
  • Drive internal migrations and process improvements.
  • Advise clients on the technical use of systems in a trade surveillance context.
  • Learn TradingHub's bespoke development language and enhance technical skills on the job.

Requirements

  • STEM degree
  • Relevant experience in a financial setting
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Solid grasp of one or more asset classes: Fixed Income, Credit, Equity or Commodities
  • Genuine interest in financial markets; knowledge of market abuse is desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven client-facing experience
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a collaborative environment
  • Comfortable using AI tools to enhance work; Claude experience is an advantage
