About the Role

Gain practical experience in an international, publicly traded technology company and actively shape exciting purchasing projects. Support the team in developing and digitalizing purchasing processes. As a working student in purchasing, you will support the team in operational and strategic procurement and gain exciting insights into national and international procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in local and global purchasing projects, from market analysis to supplier selection.
• Support the preparation and execution of tenders for various product groups and services (e.g., facility management, technical services, IT solutions, and lab materials).
• Analyze and evaluate supplier offers and participate in award and negotiation meetings.
• Support the implementation and further development of digital purchasing solutions, such as SAP Ariba and e-catalogs.
• Create and maintain regular SAP reports for audit and SOX compliance requirements.
• Maintain and update master supplier data, including Incoterms, payment terms, and supplier approvals.
• Obtain, review, and manage relevant supplier documents, especially Code of Conduct and compliance documents.
• Support cost-out initiatives and the creation of presentations, analyses, and approval documentation.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable business or technical field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
• Structured, careful, and independent way of working.
• Strong communication skills and a professional, situation-appropriate demeanor.
• Teamwork, flexibility, and high reliability.
• Interest in purchasing, procurement processes, and digitalization topics.
