About the Role
This role supports regulatory programs by uplifting reporting, managing projects, and translating complex technical concepts for stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong initiative, independent thinking, and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Uplift existing reporting and assist with communicating strategy and effective story-telling associated with the regulatory program.
- Translate technical details to executive/regulatory reporting needs.
- Develop content to explain new technologies/processes, improving information delivery to stakeholders.
- Develop a process to maintain the documentation hub for new releases, reviews, and periodic refreshes.
- Assist with all needed technical writing, including business cases with scope requirements, outcomes, benefits, metrics, and training courses.
- Lead end-to-end planning and management of small to medium cross-technology team initiatives.
- Plan, organize, and control the activities of cross-functional project teams.
- Develop and maintain an end-to-end project plan (in Jira) and maintain a project-level RAID log.
- Provide updates on OKRs, project execution metrics, and outcomes.
- Provide updates for Monthly SteerCo material.
- Coordinate communication across multiple project stakeholders, translating technical details to an executive consumable level.
- Identify and use best practices for project management.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the impact of problems across the organization and facilitate collaborative solutions.
- Coordinate across many teams with different responsibilities and goals to communicate, negotiate, and manage tasks.
Requirements
- Experience working with the Agile Software Development Methodology, Jira advanced roadmap or other Project/Program Management tools is a plus.
- Ability to roll-up technical updates to senior and executive business management is critical.
- Experience and desire to interface with external clients.
- Knowledgeable in IT risk.
- Knowledgeable and/or experience with global financial regulatory programs.
- Able to work collaboratively with others to produce a quality work product.
- Able to clearly articulate impactful executive messaging.
- Knowledgeable with effective business writing methods and techniques.
- Advanced MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and presentation skills.
- Technical acumen including the ability to understand and articulate technical topics.
- Ability to take technical content and processes and develop it into consumable documentation and communications.
- Strong Project Management skill set.
- Strong understanding of current technologies with past experience in a technical role.
- Outstanding communication skills with confidence to deliver difficult messages to senior and executive management when necessary.
- Proficiency with latest tools: Sharepoint, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Visio, Excel, and Word required.
- Self-starter who can reach out to teams to understand project details, identify issues, and propose/lead solution implementation.
- Excellent collaboration skills including the ability to partner with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
