About the Role

The team builds and provides the Idira Secure Workload Access solution, focusing on workload identity, authentication, and secure communication with the highest security standards and best user experience. We are seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to architect a resilient, high-velocity delivery ecosystem, engineering the end-to-end lifecycle for diverse components and automating infrastructure for testing.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain pipelines for testing and shipping software, involving multiple steps, complex dependencies, and testing across multiple environments and versions.
  • Maintain test infrastructure using DevOps tooling, including third-party dependencies, multi-version test environments, and cloud accounts.
  • Collaborate with the development team to enhance developer experience, providing ad-hoc environments and easily debuggable pipelines.
  • Monitor test pipelines, triage issues, and troubleshoot with developers.
  • Provide product feedback to improve user experience and testability.
  • Analyze pipeline bottlenecks and optimize for speed, security, and reliability.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with DevOps tooling and automation, including Terraform, Jenkins, AWS, and GitOps.
  • Some experience with programming/scripting.
  • Motivated by providing a great developer experience.
  • Proven track record of collaborative work.
  • Sharp, methodical debugging skills in complex environments.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog, including dashboard creation and ad-hoc issue isolation.
  • Preferably experienced with supply chain security practices such as vulnerability scanning and code signing.
