About the Role

As a PMT Architect at CARIAD, you will shape the future of our engineering tool ecosystem. Working at the intersection of technology, strategy, and governance, you will drive innovation and efficiency within CARIAD and the Volkswagen Group by designing scalable AI solutions and enabling technical delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable AI solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure technical delivery capability and manage escalations regarding architecture or infrastructure.
• Hold architectural responsibility for AI projects within the DDAI ART, coordinating technical architecture across use cases.
• Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams to integrate GenAI components into existing system landscapes.
• Evaluate and manage GenAI use cases in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a technology company, OEM, or management consultancy.
• Extensive practical experience in leading technical projects or teams in an IT or software development environment.
• Deep technical understanding of GenAI, LLMs, and AI platforms.
• Architectural understanding of complex AI landscapes, including data infrastructure.
• Practical experience in implementing AI use cases from conception to production.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
• High level of professionalism, initiative, resilience, and service orientation.
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
