About the Role

We are Careship. As a social enterprise from the heart of Berlin, we have pursued one goal nationwide since 2015: to enable people with support needs to live as self-determined a life as possible in their own homes and to relieve their caregivers. For our mission, we are looking for reliable everyday helpers to accompany and support people who need assistance with daily tasks due to their age or health impairments.

Responsibilities

Support with household chores (major part of the work)
Accompanying shopping and appointments
Support with mobility (e.g., arranging clothes, combing hair, but no personal hygiene)
Provide companionship, cook together, and organize leisure activities

Requirements

You have a heart for fellow human beings with support needs.
You are reliable and helpful.
You have fluent German language skills.
You can work at least four hours during the week (ideally at fixed times) and are interested in a long-term collaboration.
You have a clean certificate of conduct.
You are an EU citizen or have an unlimited residence permit with a work permit in Germany.
You have a smartphone and know how to use it.

14 to 16 Euro per hour

Flexibility: You schedule your appointments yourself in individual agreement with your clients.
Close work location: We ensure that your clients and the deployment locations are in your vicinity (max. 30 min travel time).
Security: An employment contract with a fixed wage of 14 to 16 Euros per hour, accident and liability insurance, and statutory holiday entitlement.
Education: You will receive free everyday helper training (prerequisite for the activity) and will have numerous online further training opportunities during your everyday helper activities.
Overview: Our MeinCareship app will be your daily tool to keep track of all appointments and clients.
Careship Team: We support you at all times and are available for all your questions.
Community: Regular events and exchange with other everyday helpers and care experts.
