About the Role

We are seeking a Partnerships Sales Manager to drive revenue through commercial partner acquisition and contribute to developing a high-performing commercial sales function. This role involves understanding potential partners' business strategies, initiating senior-level contact, and creating compelling sales arguments to demonstrate the ROI of partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Shape partnership strategy by identifying target categories and territories, maximizing commercial opportunities, and contributing to the wider Partnerships strategy.
  • Develop tailored proposals by creating bespoke partnership packages in collaboration with Marketing, Ticketing, Hospitality, and other club departments.
  • Drive new business growth by securing revenue-generating partnership deals aligned with the club's brand, values, and strategic objectives.
  • Manage and grow sales opportunities by proactively managing the sales pipeline, identifying new prospects, and applying best practices to maximize sales performance.
  • Build senior stakeholder relationships by developing and maintaining connections with key decision-makers, using market and industry insight to create meaningful opportunities.
  • Deliver compelling partnership presentations showcasing the club's offering and hosting prospective partners at matches.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals by negotiating commercial terms and working with the Senior Sales Manager and Legal team to conclude partnership agreements.
  • Support long-term partnership success by ensuring smooth handovers to Partner Services and playing a key role in renewal discussions to maximize partner value and retention.

Requirements

  • Possess a pipeline-focused approach, managing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline to deliver commercial results.
  • Demonstrate meticulous relationship management, diligently following up leads and nurturing prospects through consistent engagement.
  • Show commitment to continuous development, actively seeking opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
