About the Role
Support the management, development, and growth of sustainable index product suites, acting as a product specialist for internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end management and development of the sustainable index product suite.
- Coordinate product management and development activities.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders.
- Contribute as a product specialist to client-facing activity, product and marketing collateral, and research insights.
- Support lifecycle management of climate & ESG indices.
- Track index performance and sustainability metrics.
- Review and draft product documentation.
- Conduct competitive analysis.
- Identify and resolve product issues.
- Ensure continued relevance and competitiveness of indices.
- Test and develop new product methodologies with the Research team.
- Support the Sustainable Product team in delivering product initiatives.
- Identify product enhancement opportunities.
- Engage clients on the development of innovative index solutions.
- Coordinate delivery of new index launches and enhancements across teams.
- Build deep expertise in sustainable index products.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Research teams to develop and refresh product collateral, training content, and research blogs.
- Support product-related queries from clients and internal stakeholders.
- Stay informed on market trends, regulatory developments, and sustainability standards.
- Collaborate with other product specialists and managers.
- Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Support delivery of a market-leading approach to sustainable investing.
Requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Economics, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sustainable finance or relevant industry experience in financial services.
- Strong understanding of the sustainable investing market and climate & ESG integration frameworks.
- Understanding of investment management and portfolio construction across asset classes.
- Quantitative and financial proficiency with a high level of comfort working with datasets and quantitative information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to communicate to audiences with differing levels of domain expertise.
- Experience in a client-facing environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects effectively.
- Ability to identify and escalate potential issues early on.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Ability to influence and work through others to get things done in a matrix organization.
- Willingness to take on new responsibilities.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented mindset.
