About the Role

This is a 15-month fixed-term maternity cover role providing strategic HR partnership and operational delivery to senior leaders across Technology, Legal, PX, Savings & Retirement, and Capital Solutions. The role involves managing two HR Generalists, overseeing people activities for the Europe region, and supporting large-scale business transformation and integration into the Pacific Life Mutual Group.

Responsibilities

  • Act as senior HR partner to executive and senior leadership teams
  • Lead organisation design, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent management
  • Coach leaders through change, growth, and business transformation
  • Utilize people data and insights to support decision-making
  • Support major transformation initiatives and operating model changes
  • Translate enterprise-wide people strategies into local execution
  • Manage employee matters including performance management, employee relations, and restructuring
  • Collaborate with Centres of Excellence for HR service delivery
  • Manage and develop two HR Generalists
  • Contribute to the enterprise People Experience leadership agenda

Requirements

  • Significant experience as a Senior HR Business Partner in a complex, global, matrixed organisation
  • Proven track record of partnering with senior leaders and executive stakeholders
  • Experience leading or supporting large-scale business transformation or organisational redesign
  • Experience managing, developing, or mentoring HR professionals
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills
  • Commercially minded and pragmatic approach
  • Confident using people data, technology, and AI tools
