About the Role
Seeking a thin film dry etching researcher with extensive experience in plasma etching (CCP/ICP/RIE) and the evaluation of processed thin-film samples. The researcher will collaborate within international teams to develop novel etching precursors and is expected to manage projects in the future.
Responsibilities
- Perform dry etching evaluation of new molecules, including thin film etching tests and characterization by SEM, Spectroscopic Ellipsometry, XPS, FTIR, analysis of electrical properties, and gas analysis (GC, FTIR).
- Maintain direct contact with local suppliers and manage projects on a day-to-day basis.
- Join an internal safety organization and be responsible for a specific subject.
- Work in an English-speaking environment, requiring strong command of English speaking and reading.
- Communicate effectively and build relationships with multinational coworkers.
Requirements
- PhD level, Master degree or equivalent in material science, organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, or dry etching (CCP/ICP/RIE).
- Gas phase analysis (GC, FTIR) experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google Workspace.
- Ability to work autonomously within a team or group.
- Ability to report and present information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to manage projects.
- Ability to work in a team within a multicultural environment.
- Well-organized, self-motivated, and efficient with team leadership skills.
- Solid command in Japanese is a strong plus.
