About the Role
The Associate Consultant is a critical member of project teams, providing analytical insight, leadership, and creativity to client engagements, business development efforts, and internal initiatives. They work alongside senior team members to define engagements, build work plans, and develop deliverables with robust recommendations vital to client success.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute primary and secondary research efforts for projects.
- Conduct qualitative research through desktop research and interviews to obtain insights and data.
- Perform quantitative analysis, including financial modeling and data manipulation, to develop accurate product and market forecasts.
- Synthesize large amounts of data into discrete stories and assumptions to determine client impact.
- Contribute to brainstorming and framework development for client strategic needs.
- Produce quality client deliverables such as presentations and reports.
- Engage on multiple client projects, manage time effectively, and assume increasing leadership responsibilities.
- Review the work of junior team members and provide learning and development opportunities.
- Support senior team members with business development efforts, including research and proposal development.
- Contribute to firm-building activities such as knowledge management and internal training.
Requirements
- BA/BS in Life Sciences or Business.
- 2 years of consulting/advisory experience in biopharma or life sciences.
- Strong skills in research, analysis, forecasting, and due diligence.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and other Microsoft tools.
- Experienced with all Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
