About the Role

In this role, you will be more than just a point of contact for support requests; you will be an expert, a knowledge holder, and a driving force for the continuous development of internal processes, our software solution RIB Personal, and our high-quality service. While experience with RIB Personal is not a prerequisite, your understanding of commercial processes in payroll, payroll accounting, or salary administration, along with your ability to connect functional requirements with digital solutions, is crucial. We will provide you with the necessary product knowledge for RIB Personal step-by-step during a structured onboarding process.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers regarding the RIB Personal software solution, assisting with functional/application-related questions about construction payroll, payroll accounting, and related software processes.
  • Analyze and process customer inquiries promptly, professionally, and solution-oriented via phone, email, and/or the ticket system.
  • Collaborate with customers to develop individual solution possibilities.
  • Ensure high-quality and customer-oriented handling of all inquiries.
  • Perform program tests and remote maintenance for error analysis and problem resolution.
  • Coordinate the handling of complex issues and escalations with specialist and development teams.
  • Identify potential challenges early and support their sustainable resolution.
  • Document findings and ensure sustainable knowledge transfer.
  • Continuously develop your knowledge of construction payroll, payroll accounting, digital processes, and RIB Personal functionalities.
  • Share your expertise within the support team and foster the continuous exchange of best practices.
  • Work closely with colleagues from support, development, and product management.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of knowledge bases, documentation, and internal standards.

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance and Accounting, or a commercial apprenticeship/further education with corresponding qualifications.
  • Sound and demonstrable professional experience in payroll accounting is a prerequisite.
  • Understanding of commercial processes and their digital representation in software applications.
  • High IT affinity and interest in digital business processes and modern software solutions.
  • Structured and self-directed work approach, with the ability to systematically analyze functional and application-related questions.
  • Strong communication skills and enjoyment of direct customer interaction.
  • Team-oriented work approach and openness to new topics and continuous learning.
  • No travel required.
  • Very good German language skills (min. C1 level) for the focus market in DACH.
  • At least good English language skills at B2 level for internal communication.
